Pune FC will face a stiff challenge on Wednesday, when they take on I-league leaders Churchill Brothers in Goa for the 11th round of I-league football.

Both teams are in good form, as PFC is unbeaten in the last four matches, while Churchill Brothers also haven’t seen defeat in their five matches and scored a thumping 6-0 victory over Shillong Lajong FC at home in previous match.

While statistically, the Goans enjoy an upper hand, one thing that PFC will enjoy at the Nehru Stadium, Fatorda is their success rate. They have lost just once in their eight visits and have four wins in their kitty. In fact, PFC has a clear record against Churchill Brothers in Goa.

“Every match is different. Statistics motivate, but what remain is going out and working hard consistently and maintain the good work,” said PFC coach Derrick Pereira.

In another tie, Prayag United take on Shillong Lajong in Kolkata.
