Asian Games 2018, Day 2: India's complete schedule, time in IST and Indian medal contenders

India in action on day 2 of competitions at the 2018 Asian Games.

It was a mixed day for India at the 18th Asian Games on Sunday. India opened their accound with two medals - a gold and a bronze - on day one. However, many would feel that there were more misses than hits on day one of competetions in Jakarta. 

Bajrang Punia won the gold medal for India in wrestling while the shooters failed to meet expectations with just a bronze on Sunday.

The action of 18th Asian Games will continue on Monday. Many medal contenders will take the field in their respective categories on Monday. India's medal hopes continue to be rest on shooters and wrestlers.

India's men’s hockey team also will begin their campaign on the second day of 2018 Asian Games.
