MUMBAI: India will host two international events as a build-up to the forthcoming 2010 Commonwealth games.
This was disclosed by the secretary-general of Asian Squash Association, Srivatsan Subramaniamin Mumbai on Friday.
“The two major international events which will be held in India are the World Men’s Team Championship in 2007 and the 2009 Asian Junior Championship. And we are bidding for the 2009 World Junior Women’s Championship as well,” informed Subramaniam.
The bidding for the World Junior Women’s Championship, will be held in Brazil in December.
