India to take on Australia in hockey World Cup today

The Indian frontline led by Prabhjot Singh, Shivendra Singh and Rajpal Singh spread havoc in Pakistani ranks with their fast-paced interchanges as Team India registered their first win on Sunday.

After registering an emphatic 4-1 win against Pakistan in their first face off at the Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday, the Indian hockey team will take on Australia in their second Pool 'B' match of the hockey World Cup at the same venue today.

However, there is some bad news for the Indian camp as striker Shivendra Singh has been suspended for two matches of the on-going tournament due to hitting out at Pakistani players in Sunday's match.
