LONDON: Injured winger Aaron Lennon has pulled out of the England squad to face Brazil in a friendly on Friday and Estonia in a Euro 2008 qualifier on June 6.
An FA spokesman said on Sunday a scan had confirmed Lennon would miss both matches with a twisted knee sustained in the early stages of the 3-1 England B win over Albania on Friday.
Lennon's absence increases the chances of recalled former captain David Beckham playing on the right side of midfield in the games against Brazil at Wembley and Estonia in Tallinn.
