Alok Chaturvedi, Manoj Kumar Sinha, Ganguly Gunjan and SK Sinha today moved into the quarter-final of the first Inter-Media Table Tennis Championship at Bihar Young Mens Institute here.
On the Inaugural day of the five-day tournament, Alok Chaturvedi of Dainik Jagran trounced Razi Ahmad of Quami Tanzeem 11-1 and 11-1, Manoj Kumar Sinha of Hindustan Times beat Ashish Kumar of Sahara Samay 11-2, 3-11, 12-10.
While in other matches of the day Ganguly Gunjan of Prabhat Khabar defeated Bipin Kumar Prasad of AIR 10-12, 13-11, 11-3 and S K Sinha of AIR thrashed Rajesh Kumar of Hindustan 11-0 and 11-2.
