There were some good news for former AC Milan and Real Madrid star Kaka as he was recalled to the Brazilian squad in place of injured Liverpool attacker Philippe Countinho for two upcoming World Cup qualifying fixtures goal.com reported.

Kaka featured in Brazil's friendlies against Costa Rica and United States last month, but the Orlando City player, who has won 90 international caps, had originally been overlooked by coach Dunga for the qualifiers against Chile and Venezuela.

Coutinho was injured during the Merseyside derby against Everton on Sunday, but he managed to stay on the field till the final whistle. However, details of the injury have not been disclosed by the Liverpool management.

Brazil will kick-off their road to Russia 2018 at Copa America champions Chile in Santiago on Thursday, before they return home to host Venezuela in Fortaleza five days later.
