With the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) giving the nod to Kochi franchisee to participate in the fourth edition of the Indian Premeir League, it is deja veu in Kerala.The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) Secretary, TC Mathew, told PTI that this was a very happy news for Kerala cricket. 'We are ready with infrastructure and we are prepared to welcome the team. The association was happy that the issues between the different members in the Kochi franchise had been sorted out', he said.Mathew said he had alredy communicated to BCCI that Kerala was prepared to host some IPL matches. On December 11, a special BCCI meeting is being held at Mumbai, Mathew said adding he would discuss with the BCCI and the Kochi franchisees about hosting some matches in the state. Speedster Sreesanth said he was very happy that the Kochi team would be playing in the fourth edition of the IPL.

"This is a good opportunity," he said adding he had would be happy if gets selected in the Kochi IPL squad. 'I want to part of Kochi IPL and i want to part of good team', he said. However, it all depends on the outcome of the auction, he said.
