The Argentine international was mentioned in connection with a move to the Premier League at the end of the season in reports over the weekend

According to Metro.co.uk, it was suggested that Messi was unhappy with the pressure of being forced to play through injuries at the Nou Camp, resulting in him suffering with a string of muscular issues this season and most recently being ruled out for two months with a hamstring problem

However, Messi denied reports he has been pushed to the limit and hinted that any move to City or the Premier League is not on the cards, saying that he is not the only player who plays a lot of games in a season as every player in the La Liga does the same

Stating that he will play whenever necessary as long as he is fine, Messi further said that he has no reason to place limits on himself, although he admitted that he is unsure when he will be ready to return to action

Messi has scored 14 goals in as many appearances for Barcelona this term, the report added.
