Welsh international striker Craig Bellamy is waiting to reach an agreeable compensation package with Manchester City before deciding whether to complete a remarkable return to Liverpool on a free transfer.Manchester City are reportedly prepared to allow the 32-year-old, signed for 14 million pounds in 2009, but allowed to spend last season on loan at Cardiff, to leave for nothing in a bid to take his 90,000-pound-a-week wages off their books. Club manager Roberto Mancini has made it clear Bellamy will not play for him again, but the forward will only leave the Etihad Stadium if the final year of his contract - worth 4.6 million pounds - is paid up. It is believed he would be ready to stay in Manchester if no agreement can be reached.
