Australian tennis player Lleyton Hewitt is still hoping to land one more Grand Slam title, and according to three-time Wimbledon finalist Andy Roddick, he is still top draw when it comes to playing on grass.

''I've always put Lleyton in the top echelon of guys on grass. It's not surprising to see Lleyton Hewitt playing well on a grass court, you know. I'm sure the tournament in Halle kind-of maybe opened some people's eyes,” The Age quoted Roddick, as saying.

''But inside the locker room, I don't know if anyone was super shocked that he's in form on this surface,'' he adds.

Hewitt is fit. He is healthy. He is, as always, keen. He is not among the top-tier favourites for what he calls ''the greatest tournament there is''.

''Obviously I think here I've got as good a chance as at any of the slams, probably my best chance [is] at Wimbledon,'' Hewitt said ahead of today's opening match against obscure Argentinian claycourter Maximo (''I'm glad it's not Fernando") Gonzalez.
