Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson has made his third summer signing, getting Portuguese striker Bebe from Vitória de Guimarães for £7.6 million.

The 20-year-old striker only moved to Guimaraes five weeks ago from Portuguese third division club Estrala da Amadora.

Bebe, who spent part of his childhood on the streets before being raised in an orphanage, has also represented Portugal in the homeless World Cup.

Bebe's whose real name is Tiago Manuel Dias Correia will switch to Old Trafford after a medical.

Ferguson has already spent £18 million on Chris Smalling and Javier Hernandez this summer and now may go for German star Mesut Ozil.
