Minnesota Timberwolves forward Ryan Hollins has been suspended for two games for punching one opposing player and striking another, the National Basketball Association said on Wednesday.

Hollins, who is suspended without pay, punched DeShawn Stevenson and struck Dirk Nowitzki with his forearm in separate incidents during Minnesota''s game against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.

His suspension will begin when Minnesota host the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, the NBA said in a statement.
