MUMBAI: Pakistan's Mohammad Yousuf has overtaken Rahul Dravid and moved to the second spot in the ICC Test batsmen ranking following his match-winning 192 in the first Test against West Indies in Lahore this week.

The 32-year-old right-hander became only the 20th batsman in history and the first Pakistani to cross the 900 rating points barrier, an indication of the pristine form he is in.

The middle-order batsman is the leading run-scorer in the calendar year with 1,315 runs from nine matches with six hundreds, including a 202 against England at Lord's in July.

Yousuf is second only to Australia run machine Ricky Ponting in the Test rankings released by the International Cricket Council on Thursday. Team mate Younis Khan remains in fourth.

In the Test rankings for bowlers, Sri Lanka off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan remains well clear of second-placed South African Makhaya Ntini.

South Africa's Jacques Kallis retains top spot for all rounders, ahead of England's Andrew Flintoff, while Australia head the team table, 11 points clear of nearest rivals England.
