Mohun Bagan to face Tampine Rovers in AFC Cup pre-quarters
The Kolkatan giants had beaten the Tampines Rovers 3-1 in the AFC Champions League preliminary round one.
Mohun Bagan will face Singaporean outfit Tampines Rovers in their AFC Cup pre-quarterfinal in Guwahati on May 24.
The Rovers on beat Selangor FC 1-0 to collect a total of 10 points and finish second behind Group E toppers Ceres La Salle (12) of Philippines and set up a last 16 clash against the Kolkata giants.
Mohun Bagan had beaten the Tampines Rovers 3-1 in the AFC Champions League preliminary round one game in January.
Jeje Lalpekhula, Cornell Glen and Katsumi Yusa had scored goals while Sony Norde was instrumental in all the three strikes in the win against the Singapore team.
