Team India captain MS Dhoni is getting engaged to his long-time girl friend, Sakshi Singh Rawat, in Dehradun this weekend.
Dhoni is believed to have thrown a cocktail party for select guests on Saturday night. The engagement ceremony is set to take place at a resort called Bhagirati Farm House in Derhadun.
The marriage, sources say, will take place after the World Cup next year.
The 21-year-old Rawat is a hotel management graduate from Aurangabad.
Though the engagement could not be independently confirmed, sources revealed to DNA that Dhoni’s parents had left Ranchi.
Some television channels though claimed to have got confirmation from Dhoni’s brother-in-law, and reported that the engagement had already taken place on Saturday.
