After failing to impress in the first real test, Mumbai FC is all set to take on Kolkata’s giant, East Bengal, in their third I-league match season at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi on Wednesday.

The Mumbai side, which suffered a 0-4 defeat against Dempo SC, is now aiming for a better show with full strength. They’re expected to have an upper hand since they will play on the same ground where they scored a resounding 4-1 win against Air India in their season opener.

“There will be some changes in the team since a couple of our key players such as defenders Gautam Debnath and Dane Perreira, along with midfielder Faizal Rehman, will be back in the side. The team is fully fit now and, naturally, our aim would be to garner three points in this home match,” said Mumbai FC coach Henry Picardo.

Meanwhile, East Bengal, with a draw and defeat in the kitty, will be eager to script their first win.
