CHENNAI: Mobi Races, a horse racing information WAP site, that would offer "live" information on racing on mobile telephones was launched at the Madras Race Club on Wednesday.
The service provided by Hyderabad-based Pyro Mobile, a leader in mobile content and application development, was launched by Tamil Nadu Information and Publicity Minister Parithi Ilamvazhuthi.
The service is a one stop mobile destination for all horse racing enthusiasts. It offers racing information and videos of all races, Pyro Mobile CEO P B Shyam said at the launch.
To access information on racing, one should purchase the "Mobi Races Scratch Card" (priced at Rs 250 with a one month validity and Rs 500-three months validity) and have a basic GPRS connection from the mobile service provider.
