Australian fast bowler Brett Lee and all-rounder James Hopes are suffering from elbow soreness and a hamstring injury respectively, and are doubtful starters for the second one-day international against India to be played in Nagpur on Wednesday.

The Australian quoted cricket team sources as saying that Hopes may not be fit for the Nagpur ODI.

Lee, on the other hand, will need to prove his fitness in order to play in Nagpur, they added.

Meanwhile, skipper Ricky Ponting has acknowledged 'man of the match' Mike Hussey’s contribution to the team’s victory in the first ODI here on Sunday.

“Hussey was excellent and he made it look easy for us,” said Ponting after his men completed a four-run win by restricting the Indians to 8-288 in reply to 8-292.

Indian captain Mahendra Dhoni felt that his men could take some momentum into Nagpur thanks to Harbhajan Singh (49) and Praveen Kumar (40no).

“Full credit to Harbhajan and Kumar for bringing us so close to the target,” he said.
