The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has allowed all non-contracted cricketers to take part in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The PCB statement has asked all  non-contracted players to write to IPL chairman Lalit Modi and indicate their availability for the auction.

The last date of submission of application with supportive documents is December 31, The Dawn reports.

Earlier, the PCB chairman had expressed the hope that the issue of issue of participation of Pakistani cricketers in the Indian Premier League's (IPL) third edition would be resolved soon.

Talking to media persons here, Butt said the board has not given up trying to ensure Pakistan's representation in the T20 league.

"I am fully bent upon making possible the inclusion of Pakistan players in IPL third edition. PCB has not surrendered yet and the issue will soon be resolved," Butt had said.

It may be noted that Modi had ruled out the participation of Pakistani players in IPL's third edition beginning March 2010 due to an ongoing Visa problem.

Later, the Indian High Commission in Islamabad said that it has not denied visas to Pakistani players, and added that their visa applications were being processed.
