India has had a strong start to their journey at the Paris Olympics. The women's archery team secured a top-four spot, earning a direct entry into the quarter-finals. Following suit, the men's team also achieved this distinction with a third-place finish.

Delving into the performance of the women's team, Ankita Bhakat, Bhajan Kaur, and Deepika Kumari all placed in the top 32. Ankita claimed the 11th spot with a score of 666, while Bhajan, a debutant, finished 22nd with 659 points. Deepika Kumari rounded out the trio in 23rd place with 658 points.

In the men's category, Dhiraj Bommadevara delivered an impressive performance, securing the fourth spot with 681 points. Tarundeep Rai followed closely behind in 14th place with 674 points, while Pravin Jadhav claimed the 39th position with 658 points.
