The difference in skill level between the two players was clear as Sindhu, aiming for her third Olympic medal, defeated her lower-ranked opponent in just 29 minutes with a score of 21-9, 21-6 in the Group M match.

Despite a few mistakes early on, Sindhu quickly regained control of the game and took a commanding 11-4 lead. Razzaq managed to narrow the gap to 3-4 at one point, but Sindhu pulled ahead once again, extending her lead to 10-3.

In the end, Sindhu had a whopping 14 match points, but she only needed one to secure the win against the world No. 13 player.

On the other hand, Arjun Babuta made it to the final of the Men's 10m Air Rifle event, but unfortunately, his Indian counterpart Sandeep Singh didn't make it through.

Arjun scored a total of 630.1, landing him in 7th place in the qualifying round and allowing him to advance to the final round.

Sandeep Singh finished in 12th place with a total score of 629.3, which meant he was eliminated from the event.
