Lucky Ramaroa will be the luckiest man in South Africa when England take on the United States in their first World Cup match in June 12 in Phokeng.
Ramaroa runs the only pub in Phokeng, the dusty town, and according to the Daily Star, expects to rake in the moolah when thousands of thirsty England supporters come to watch the match.
“I have hit the jackpot here, no doubt.I have the only bar for eight kilometers. My closest rival is in Rustenburg," Lucky, 46, was quoted, as saying.
“England fans drink a great deal, no? Well, they have competition here with the locals,” he added.
At Lucky’s, a Carling costs 60p and 30p will buy you chicken wings. Although only about 4,100 tickets have been sold to England fans, thousands more are expected on the day.
