Reigning Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel today won the Korean Grand Prix to help Red Bull wrap up a second consecutive constructors’ championship.
Vettel, who clinched back-to-back drivers’ title in Japan last weekend, jumped McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton on the first lap at the Korea International Circuit in Yeongam to take the lead and was unchallenged on his way to a 10th win of the season, the BBC reports.
Hamilton finished 12 seconds behind the 24-year-old German.
Red Bull’s Mark Webber came in third, and was followed by McLaren’s Jenson Button and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa.
With three races remaining and a maximum 129 points to be won, Red Bull has an insurmountable 140-point lead over McLaren.
