Mancini has guided City to second spot in the Premier League - despite fireworks from four big-name players.

Mancini said: "We have fined the players because we mustn't have this. The player pays and the money goes to charity."

Photographs of the bust-ups caused embarrassment at the club.

Mancini said: "We have the fights so the photographers can take the pictures! These things happen with every team, the difference here is we don't have a big wall to stop people taking pictures of it. When you train every day and play a match at 100%, it can happen."
