Both teams desperate to turn the tide
AHMEDABAD: Ninth match of the ICL 20s Challenge, to be played at the Sardar Patel Stadium here, has everything to be a masala flick.
Apart from being the first ICL match in the city, for the first time a game will be played under floodlights at this stadium, which last hosted international stars back in 1981. And most importantly, Ahmedabad Rockets will make their home debut against Mumbai Champs.
The match is even more important as both teams have lost earlier matches in the Hyderabad round, making it a do or die encounter.
Nathan Astle and Damien
Martyn are aware of the pitch and weather conditions as they have camped here before the start of the tournament. Martyn will once again have to play a key role if the Rockets want to return to winning ways.
