This special moment not only marked the conclusion of Rahul Dravid's tenure as head coach but also the last game for India's senior players Rohit and Virat Kohli in T20I format.

After the Men in Blue won the ICC trophy after 11 years at Kensington Oval, Barbados, the India skipper was captured planting the national flag on the ground and also tasted the mud to remember this historic day in his life.

Rohit also took X to share the photo of planting the Indian flag in Barbados and changed his profile picture with this on X.

However, this move resulted in Rohit losing his blue tick on the social media platform, becoming an unverified account. This is because of a clause of X which states that 'subscribers will be able to change their handle, display name or profile photo, but if they do they’ll temporarily lose the blue checkmark until their account is reviewed again'.

Moreover, Rohit has 23.4M followers on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Recently, the T20 World Champions had an open bus victory parade from Marine Drive to the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The parade saw a sea of fans gathered at Marine Drive with Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and other players standing on the open bus, lifting the coveted trophy.
