Tendulkar underwent an MRI scan last night at the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after experiencing uneasiness in his knees, but all doubts vanished after the MRI scan.

Cleared of any injury after an MRI scan, Sachin Tendulkar today arrived in Bangalore to join his India teammates ahead of their second World Cup Group B match against England on February 27.

The team management, however, is yet to confirm whether Tendulkar will join the team's training session at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore tomorrow afternoon.

The senior India batsman underwent an MRI scan last night at the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after experiencing uneasiness in his knees, but all doubts vanished after the MRI scan.

"The MRI scan is clear. There is no problem," a Lilavati hospital spokesperson told PTI today.

Sources said the scan was done as a precautionary measure.

Meanwhile, Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni also arrived in the city from Ranchi this evening, after attending the ongoing 34th National Games in his hometown yesterday.

Most of the Indian players, who arrived here last night, chose to remain at the hotel. Only pacers Zaheer Khan and Ashish Nehra spent about 90 minutes at the Gymnasium in the National Cricket Academy.

Nehra did not find a place in the playing eleven in the team's opening match against Bangladesh last week due to a back spasm.
