If sources are to be believed, then cricketer MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Singh Rawat wants to throw a small party for her colleagues and friends at Taj Bengal in Kolkata.
According to a close friend of Sakshi, the newlywed has asked one of her close friends to book the discotheque of the Taj hotel so that she can throw a small party for her colleagues.
“Sakshi wants to celebrate her marriage with her colleagues. She was a management trainee at Taj Bengal when she met Dhoni. In fact, she met Dhoni on the last day of her traineeship.
She has said that she will hold a party for her office colleagues when she comes back from the honeymoon,” say a source adding that the discotheque will be booked by one one of her friends.
Officials at the Taj Bengal said that no official party is being hosted at the hotel. “We don’t have any official intimation about the party, so we cannot confirm or deny the news. But it may be possible that she can book the venue through her friend,” says Madhurima Sinha, the spokesperson for Taj Bengal.
According to reports, Sakshi Singh Rawat and Dhoni met at the Taj Bengal in Kolkata in December, 2007.
India was playing against Pakistan at Eden Gardens and were staying at the Taj. They started dating in March 2008.
