The Marussia driver has set a record after finishing every race in his debut season.

While all the attention was on Sebastian Vettel as he went about toppling all F1 records, rookie Max Chilton did what even the best debutante ever Lewis Hamilton was not able to do.

Chilton who drove for Marussia in the 2013 season that just commenced with the Brazilian GP over the last weekend helped his team finish 10th in the FIA Formula 1 Constructors' World Championship.

Thanks to the 22-year-old British driver, Marussia beat Caterham for the first time in the F1 constructor's championship. Chilton finished all 19 races this season making it a record for a rookie as he took the chequered flag every time in 2013 from Australia to Brazil as well as the races in the middle.

For 2014, Max Chilton is still awaiting a deal but his stellar performance that has earned him a place in F1 history books is sure to ensure him a drive next season with many teams on the grid having vacant driver spots.
