DUBAI: When Shanthakumaran Sreesanth will take wickets during the World Cup in Caribbean, he will not only help the Indian cricket team but also as many as 11 Indians freed from Dubai jails to fly home.

In its unique gesture, a menswear chain, Snowhite, will give air tickets to the Indians freed from jail in Dubai with every scalp from the Kerala paceman during the mega event.

Snowhite Managing Director Hiroo Vassanani said the distribution of the tickets would be at the discretion of the Indian Consulate.

"The money for the tickets as per the number of wickets taken by Sreesanth will be paid to the Indian Community Welfare Committee (ICWC)," Vassanani was quoted as saying by the 'Gulf News'.

"Sreesanth was chosen because we wanted to encourage budding cricketers," he said.
