The Sri Lankan cricket team and some members of the India team arrived here today for the first Test starting November 16.

The Sri Lankan cricket team and some members of the India team arrived here today for the first Test starting November 16 at the Sardar Patel stadium here.
    
The visiting team was led by wicketkeeper-batsman Kumar Sangakkara while Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni arrived with Harbhajan Singh, Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir at Sardar Patel airport.    

According to Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) sources the Indian team members including Sachin Tendulkar would be arriving separately and are likely to have a training session in the afternoon at Sardar Patel stadium, Motera.

Tendulkar, who would complete 20 years of his international cricketing career, would be presented a memento by Gujarat chief minister and GCA president Narendra Modi before the match, they said.
