Sachin Tendulkar will unveil the portrait of late cricketer-turned-administrator Raj Singh Dungarpur at the entrance lobby of the Cricket Club of India on March 24.It was the former Cricket Board and CCI president Dungarpur who, as the then chief selector, played a big role in the induction of the champion batsman in the Indian team for the 1989 tour of Pakistan as a 16-year-old boy.Dungarpur had also played a key role in changing the club's rules to allow Tendulkar the use of its dressing room as a teenaged boy by making him the hallowed club's member in the late 1980s.When Dungapur died last August, Tendulkar was abroad but came straight away after returning here to attend the former'scondolence meeting on the lawns of the Brabourne Stadium andpaid a momentous tribute to him.
