While going back down his memory lane, AJ revealed how he felt when he first saw a huge crowd in front of him.

Speaking about the match, Styles also revealed that he was wearing a mask and was known by a different name too.

The name that the current WWE Intercontinental Champion went for was 'Mr. Olympia', he revealed.

"For me, I thought it was awesome. I mean, I was in a ring and it's not in front of a whole bunch of people but there were people out there," he said.

"And for me, it was awesome because I was doing it in front of people. I bet that if I watched it now - we're talking about 21 years ago, it would be terrible."

"I am sure of it. But for young AJ, well, that first match was under a mask and they called me Mr. Olympia. But I was out there, and I was happy about that," he added.

Recent rumours now suggest that the WWE star will be leaving the entertainment company to join IMPACT Wrestling with Gallows and Anderson apparently trying to get Styles to sign with the brand.
