Thousands take part in the 8th Chennai Marathon
Thousands of men and women from India and other countries including Kenya and Japan partiticpated in the marathon run.
Thousands of enthusiastic participants today ran in different categories of the 8th Chennai Marathon, organised by the Tamil Nadu government. Thousands of men and women from India and other countries including Kenya and Japan partiticpated in the marathon run, sports and youth welfare minister TPM Mohideen Khan, told reporters after flagging off the marathon. The Chennai Marathon was divided into seven categories including the 42 km full marathon for men, 21 km half marathon and corporate marathon, he said. The Marathon was organised by the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT).
