AHMEDABAD: Hyderabad Heroes meet Royal Bengal Tigers in the semifinals of the ICL 20s Indian Championship here at Sardar Patel Stadium on Tuesday. Three New Zealanders, Craig McMillan and Hamish Marshall of Tigers and Chris Harris of Heroes and equal number of South Africans, Nicky Boje and Justin Kemp of Heroes and Lance Klusener of Tigers  will hold key in this contest.

Harris and Boje are leading performers for the Hyderabad team. Harris has 105 runs in this tournament, while Boje has scored 218. Boje also has 12 wickets at an average of 12.16. Praising Boje’s efforts, Harris said, “He has proved his all-round abilities.”

Kemp has not able to show his dazzling display which he did during the English County
season but captain Harris feels it is matter of one innings. “At the nets Kemp is hitting the ball well. We hope he repeats that in the match,” Harris said.

On the other hand the Bengal Tigers will rely on an in-form Hamish Marshall to provide the explosive start. Marshall has scored 340 runs in the tournament which includes 36 boundaries and 13 sixes.

Marshall in company of Deep Dasgupta has the delivered goods at the top of the order.
