Fiorentina head coach Vincenzo Montella praised his side's performance as "one of our best" following their 5-3 win at Verona Sunday.
The visitors came back from one goal behind to notch up the win in style, much to Montella's pleasure. The former Roma striker was full of praise for his men, Xinhua reported.
"It was one of our best performances since I came to Fiorentina and I like it when the team plays with such quality," he was quoted as saying.
"We showed tactical acumen, timed our runs well and created so many chances. I was very happy to see my team play such attacking and attractive football."
Montella paid tribute to Rudi Garcia, head coach of Roma, who will play against Fiorentina next week.
"If we were voting now, I'd give the Coach of the Year award to Garcia because it's truly complicated to work in an environment like Roma," he said.
