Liverpool's Alisson looks dejected after Leicester City's first goal

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson made an horrendous blunder in the Premier League match against Leicester.

Liverpool beat Leicester City 2-1 to post a fourth successive Premier League victory but conceded their first goal of the season after a nightmare mistake by goalkeeper Alisson.

Alisson made an horrendous blunder in the second half at the King Power Stadium as Rachid Ghezzal pulled a goal back for Leicester on Saturday. The Brazil No.1 looked to be too clever with his footwork in his own area, before losing the ball and giving up an open goal.

It was the first goal conceded by Liverpool this Premier League season.

Alisson was given an awkward back-pass but should have put his boot through the ball early rather than try some fancy footwork.

Earlier this week, Alisson had said that he will not be afraid to trust his footwork and take risks on the ball.

Alisson said: “I take risks. It is calculated. Fans with heart problems have to be careful.

“But on the pitch I do not try to make of fun of a rival. It’s not to show that I can do this or that, but to help the team. It is to achieve targets."

However, Liverpool fans will hope he will do better in future.

On Saturday, both Liverpool goals came before the break with Sadio Mane bagging his fourth goal of the season and Roberto Firmino heading home from a James Milner corner.
