WATCH Cristiano Ronaldo sprint 92m in just 14.2 seconds

At 36, Ronaldo displayed his age-defying fitness levels as he sprinted across the length of the pitch for the first goal in less than 15 seconds.

There is a reason why Cristiano Ronaldo is called a G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time). The man proved why he is so highly rated, and that age is just a number as the Portugal star merely took 15 minutes to break the deadlock against Germany in a Group F EURO 2020 match on Saturday (June 20).

Called CR7, the footballer was at the right place at the right time and all he did was a tap in the ball to give Portugal the lead.

At 36, Ronaldo displayed his age-defying fitness levels as he sprinted across the length (92m) of the pitch for the first goal in less than 15 seconds. It was a stunning counter-attacking move from Portugal as they took full advantage of fewer players in the German box.

The Portugal skipper cleared the ball from his own box before making a darting run forward and then even going on to score the opening goal for his side.

Ronaldo hit a top speed of 32 km/h during his 92m run and covered the distance in just 14.2 seconds. Interestingly, this was Ronaldo's first-ever goal against Germany.

As for the clash, Portugal suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Germany at the Allianz Arena, Munich.

Ronaldo had given the defending champions a 15th-minute lead but Germany came back with a bang at the break 2-1 up thanks to own goals from Ruben Dias and Raphael Guerreiro.

The three-time European champions then went on to score more two goals in the second half courtesy of Kai Havertz and Robin Gosens making it 4-1 before Diogo Jota pulled a goal back for Portugal.

The win moves Germany, into second place in the group on three points, a point behind leaders France and level on points with the Portuguese.

Germany who face Hungary in their final game, saw their opponents draw the game 1-1 against France earlier on Saturday.
