Indian cricket's hero for all seasons Virat Kohli turned 28 on Saturday. Earlier in the day, the swashbuckling batsman was seen entering the team hotel in Rajkot, the venue for India's first Test against England, with his actress-girlfriend Anushka Sharma. However, the real party started only when Kohli got together with his team mates to cut his birthday cake.
After doing a li'l jig before cutting his cake, India's Test captain was assaulted by Umesh Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane, Hardik Pandya, Ishant Sharma and Amit Mishra, who all smeared half the cake on Kohli's face to leave him in an unrecognisable state.
