Watch WWE: When Roman Reigns seriously injured Triple H
The sequence was part of plan in the show The Game. Triple H was successful in selling the move as he was pinned down to the table but he appeared to be hurt and was stretched off from the arena in a precarious situation.
WWE COO and former superstar of the ring Triple H was seriously hurt on Sunday when Roman Reigns went after him with chair shots and smashed the former into the Spanish announce table.
The sequence was part of the script at WWE's event Tables, Ladders and Chairs (TLC). Triple H was successful in selling the move as he was pinned down to the table but he appeared to be hurt and was stretched off from the arena in a precarious situation.
WWE released the following statement in response to the attack by Reigns:
Following Roman Reigns’ vicious attack on WWE COO Triple H at the WWE TLC pay-per-view, WWE.com has learned that The Game is being evaluated by WWE medical staff and will be observed overnight. It remains to be seen if this is a part of the storyline or somewhere, HHH got hurt for real. It seems almost a certainty that the onscreen WWE COO will miss tonight’s episode of RAW.
