Will Lalit Modi stay or go

April 26 is slated to be D-Day for IPL commissioner Lalit Modi. It’s the day when the BCCI governing council is scheduled to meet in Mumbai to decide his fate. We spoke to astrologer Bejan Daruwalla, numerologist Sanjay B Jumaani and Tarot Card reader Roopa Patel and asked them whether the currently beleaguered Modi will be shown the door or not.

Bejan feels Lalit will face enormous difficulties till August this year. Till then he will have no respite from his problems. He says, “Lalit Modi will not accept defeat easily but he is on a sticky and turning wicket that will give him enough reason to worry. Even if he survives April 26, his worries will not end till July 27 post which he will again be at the centre of attention for all the right reasons. Lalit is a Sagittarius and they don’t get afraid easily. His zodiac is ruled by Jupiter — the money planet. So he’ll always attract money.”

Sanjay adds Lalit has to rely on his karma to tide over on April 26. “Jupiter is known as the wealth planet and this is a very favourable and eventful year for Lalit. However, if you add 26, the result is eight. The number eight is Saturn or shani, which is known to be very judgmental and strict. Saturn doesn’t spare the guilty. Now, it totally depends on Modi’s karmas and deeds that will either see him tide over 26th or see his fall,” he says.

Roopa, however, sees the downfall of Modi. “I have drawn a knight with sword which means Lalit will fight tooth and nail but I also have a card that is wish reversed. This card signifies that Lalit will not get what he desires for. Even if he survives the 26th, I see his defeat in the long term,” she says.
