Usain Bolt's decision to call time on his glittering career will dominate the IAAF World Championships in London that starts on Friday.
The Jamaican sprinter, an eight-time Olympic gold medallist with 11 world golds to his name and world record holder in the 100 and 200m, will race just the 100m and 4x100m relay in the British capital.
While the spotlight of the event will rightly be on Bolt, there are a fair number of Indian athletes who will be looking to make a mark too.
Much of the talk in terms of Indian athletes has centred around Sudha Singh in recent weeks. The 3000m steeplechaser's name was quietly removed from the list of Indian participants at the World Athletics Championships on Monday.
Having said that, India still has plenty of athletes who are participating and can bring glory to the country. With 24 athletes competing in 11 events, fans will surely be expecting a handful of medals this time around.
