With Bangalore’s Cinderella deadline, there are very few places that Bangaloreans can go to celebrate after the day-night matches.
“Bangalore has very few places that work as ‘hangouts’ at night. My favourite place is the Bangalore International Airport. You have your options to eat and it’s a good drive too,” says techie Sridhar Raman.
Another techie, Karthik Rao, likes to drive on Mysore Road. “It’s fun to zip on the NICE Road and eventually head to Rasta Cafe on Mysore Road. The place has some buzz that keeps it going all night long.”
Girls on the other hand prefer chilling out in secure places. “After spending many hours in a packed stadium, I’d rather have a place where us girls can just lounge around. I love the pizzas at Chancery Pavillion and ITC Royal Gardenia,” says Vidya R, an HR professional. Event management professional Arpan Peter likes to hang out in his secret getaways.
“Usually, we friends end up driving to this lake near the airport and carry our picnic baskets along. These make better options than going to a coffee shop,” says he. What’s your mantra?
