'Viru has got an allergic reaction in his right knee. So we will take a call either in the evening or by the morning, just before the game,' Dhoni told reporters.

Opener Virender Sehwag is doubtful for Sunday's World Cup Group B match against West Indies after he suffered an allergic reaction in his right knee, India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni said on Saturday.

"Viru has got an allergic reaction in his right knee. So we will take a call either in the evening or by the morning, just before the game," Dhoni told reporters.

The Indian captain, however, did not reveal any contingency plans should Sehwag sit out.

"You have to wait until tomorrow for the playing XI."

Sehwag had earlier been hit on the rib during a net session last month and rushed to Delhi to consult his personal physician before joining the squad.
