Every result of the WWE Elimination Chamber 2018.

The road to Wrestlemania 34 became a lot clearer with the WWE Elimination Chamber on Sunday (Monday morning in India). Alexa Bliss won the inaugural women's Elimination Chamber match to retain her WWE Raw women's championship and set up a mouth-watering clash with Asuka for the 'showcase of the immortals.' Roman Reigns was predictably victorious in 7-men Elimination Chamber match and will face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 34.

However, there were no surprises and the results were almost predicable. The other matches had not much to offer and were underwhelming to put it mildly.

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson defeats The Miztourage (Kickoff Show)

It was a fairly standard tag team match. But after the match, The Revival cut a backstage promo claiming Gallows & Anderson are a "mockery" to tag team wrestling.

Women's Championship, Elimination Chamber - Alexa Bliss (c) defeats Sasha Banks, Bayley, Mickie James, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville to retain the title

The first ever women's Elimination Chambe match made the right impact. Banks finally turned on Bayley. However, it was Bliss who defended her title despite the odds against her.

This relatively short match produced a predictable ending.

Asuka defeats Nia Jax

After the match, Bliss who was watching backstage,  was told by Renee Young that she would likely face Asuka at WrestleMania. "No one, not even Asuka, no one is ready for Alexa," she said.

Matt Hardy defeats Bray Wyatt

The match was full of mind games but otherwise not up to the mark. A series of late reversals led to Hardy connecting on a Twist of Fate for the pin.

Ronda Rousey officially signs her WWE Raw contract

Rousey's Road to WrestleMania 34 got off to a great start. Kurt Angle, who interrupted the cordial banter between the former UFC champion and the heel duo of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to reveal the Authority's master plan revealing comments made backstage by Triple H and McMahon who once refered to Ronda as a has-been.

Rousey hit a side suplex on Triple H through the table before McMahon landed a stiff slap. Following a staredown, Rousey signed the contract and dropped it onto Triple H's body.
