Part-time WWE superstar Dave Batista, who returned to WWE in January this year, only to take time off since June for making movies, might have one last match against Triple H, at Wrestlemania 31 in 2015.

Wrestling news website PWInsider notes that in case Batista does return to WWE, it will be for a Wrestlemania programme. Batista has shown interest in a match against Triple H at Wrestlemania. It could be the 'retirement' match for Batista, who says he was disappointed with his return this year.

Batista was originally scheduled to be a part-time competitor for 2 years starting 2014, but he left midway after his return was deemed a flop. Batista won the WWE's Royal Rumble match event in January, earning a right to face then-WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 30. However, Batista, a face (good guy) was booed heavily by crowds for a month, leading to him turning villain.

Upcoming superstar Daniel Bryan was instead cheered wildly, forcing WWE to add him to the championship match at Wrestlemania and booking him to win the title.

Dave Batista joined WWE in 2002 as "Deacon Batista" but rose up the ranks after joining Triple H's villainous group called Evolution. He won the World Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania 21 in 2005 after 'turning on' Triple H, becoming a 'good guy'. He quit WWE in 2010 for personal reasons, only to return in 2014.

Batista also starred in the 2014 movie Guardians of the Galaxy, where he played Drax the Destroyer.
