BASEL (Switzerland): Yuvraj Singh realised his long cherished dream to meet star football players up close when he presented the man of the match award in the European Cup match between Switzerland and Portugal here on Sunday.
Yuvraj, an ardent Manchester United fan, gave away the trophy to Swiss soccer star Hakan Yakin. Switzerland beat Portugal 2-0. Portugal have already reached the quarterfinal of the tournament and was fielding a second string team.
Yuvraj went there as part of a promotional event.
