Yuvraj Singh once again finds himself without a place in the Indian ODI squad, after he was omitted from the 17-man squad for the ODIs and one-off Twenty20 international against England.

Opener Gautam Gambhir and middle-order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara have also not been picked.

Uncapped Kerala wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson and Railways leg-spin bowling all-rounder Karn Sharma have instead been selected to be part of squad for the five ODIs and one Twenty20.

Suresh Raina, who was dropped from the ODI squad for the Asia Cup but led a second-string team to Bangladesh in June, has also made the squad. Fast bowlers Mohit Sharma and Umesh Yadav have been retained from the Bangladesh ODI squad. Amit Mishra misses out due to injury.

The ODI series begins on August 25 with the first match taking place at Bristol.
