WhatsApp is planning a set of new features including Read Later and Mute Video after releasing some popular features this month.

WhatsApp is reportedly planning a new set of features including Read Later and Mute Video, after releasing some popular features like Disappearing Message, WhatsApp Pay, and enhance storage tool this month.

"After enabling Advanced Wallpaper features and Disappearing messages, WhatsApp is working on new features now. The next feature, available in a future update, will allow muting videos before sending to contact or your status updates," reported Wabetainfo.

The Read Later feature would be an improvement over its Archives Chats feature, including the Vacation mode. The users will be able to keep all the archived chats in their archive, even after they receive new messages.

A screenshot of how the feature would look like after its official release was shared. "Archive is now Read Later," reads the Whatsapp banner prominently. This feature will help in reducing the interruptions, similar to the vacation mode feature that WhatsApp was working on.

Apart from this, WhatsApp is also working on multi-device support for some time, which may be released soon. This feature will allow the users to log in to a single account from four different devices.

WhatsApp is also working on a feature that will allow the users to report unwanted groups and chats to WhatsApp. It is similar to reporting suspicious or fake accounts on Facebook and Twitter. WhatsApp will take action against the reported contact only after verifying the report through various means.

To test this feature, the interested users will have to update their WhatsApp beta app for the Google Play Store.
